Content translation (multilingual)

Every page must be translated into every language you want to use on your site, so if you want French, German and Spanish translations that is 4 pages for every page of content on your website. That can't be bad for SEO!

  1. Go to one of your content pages (eg About us) and click the edit tab
  2. Scroll down to 'Language' and change the language to the default (eg British Englich)
  3. Click [Save]
  4. Click the Translate tab
  5. Hit 'Add translation' next to the language you want to translate to
  6. This will create a new node with most things filled in, simply translate everything.
  7. [Save]
  8. Go back to the origional page and hit the Translate tab
  9. Type in the title of the translated page if its not in the box
  10. Click [Save]

Do this for every node on the site to finish your site.

Enable the language switch block for everyone and you're done!
