Content translation (multilingual)
Every page must be translated into every language you want to use on your site, so if you want French, German and Spanish translations that is 4 pages for every page of content on your website. That can't be bad for SEO!
- Go to one of your content pages (eg About us) and click the edit tab
- Scroll down to 'Language' and change the language to the default (eg British Englich)
- Click [Save]
- Click the Translate tab
- Hit 'Add translation' next to the language you want to translate to
- This will create a new node with most things filled in, simply translate everything.
- [Save]
- Go back to the origional page and hit the Translate tab
- Type in the title of the translated page if its not in the box
- Click [Save]
Do this for every node on the site to finish your site.
Enable the language switch block for everyone and you're done!
