CCK Module
CCK stands for Contact Construction Kit and with it you can add new 'parts' into your content and display them.
For example, you have created a new content type called 'Projects' that is just like a page, but it has hidden fields that only admin can see which can contain cPanel logins and other bits of info. It also has a field for a 'Website' that contains the project website. Check out the Projects link on the left for this. You would use CCK to do all this.
CCK is also used by many other modules to output its results so even if you don't use it, some of your modules will.

At the moment this module just needs installing and you don't need to play with the admin for it.
